Im looking for a holster to use for hunting. Any type but I prefer only leather. Needs to be comfortable to walk long distances and easily removable for sitting in a tree stand. Preferably less than $100. Any suggestions?

A Ruger holster for a 7.5" Super Blackhawk will work for your Bisley. They are inexpensive and good value. They tilt forward and slide on a belt. 8) 8)

For hunting, a cross draw chest holster or bandolero works the best for me like this one from Pistol Packaging and if I remember correctly it was under a hundred bucks.

Very nice rig. Is that a stainless 7 1/2" Bisley?????

Macbullet,

Nice looking holster. I've made a few myself. Always nice to get just what you want. Is it hand stitched or machine?

I was just looking at those recently, and the description says "Does not fit Bisley Revolvers." But your photo clearly shows that it does -- any idea why they would make that statement? Thanks.

I also have the one from Pistol Packaging in the bandoleer style, and i love it. Easy off and on, and it holds the 7.5" bisley out of the way. Plus it adjusts so that i can wear it on the outside or under my outer layer.

Hope this helps,
Ken

It must be that the strap doesn't fit as nicely under the Bisley hammer as it does with the Super's hammer, but as you can see it was no problem really. 8)

Simply rugged cattleman holster works out nicely for mine.
