My wife's late uncle was at Anzio with the 3rd. Infantry Division. Before he died, he did a write-up about his experience at Anzio. This was found among his things after his death. It was hand written and I transcribed it into a pdf document. I thought if anyone was interested I'd post it here, but I don't know how to post it in readable form. Would there be any interest if I could do that? It is about four pages as typed. And, would anyone find it of interest?

I would love to read it.

The easiest way that I know of to post it is to have it on a server (much like you do
with a picture) then encase the URL for it within URL tags on the forum.

Get a dropbox account, post the pdf there and you can then post a link to it here so anyone wanting to read it can open it online and do so.

I'd like to read it as well, if you can't find a way to post it, I agree, just copy and paste. If it's too lone for one post, you could break it up into sections.

by the way, how was his handwriting? I found a couple old post cards from my grandpa in my parent's garage. Man, I couldn't read them for anything.

O.K. Cute and paste it is. I have posted under a new thread. "Anzio Diary of GW Nix."

Thanks for all who helped me post this.
