How rare are they?

About five years ago I had a Ruger Birdshead Vaquero SS 4-3/4" chambered in .357 Magnum. It was a great SA revolver, but sadly I had a dumb attack and sold it to help pay for a Colt 1911A1 WWII reproduction.

For the past month I've been checking GunBroker on a regular basis for a Ruger Birdshead Vaquero like the one I had, but thus far no luck. The only one's I've seen are 3-3/4" .45 Colt, or 4-3/4" .32 H&R Magnum versions. How rare are the SS 4-3/4" .357 Magnum versions? Did I really screw the pooch, and sell a revolver that had a very limited production run? Thanks.

Not sure how few are around but the shop I work in part time has two
or did the other day. About a month ago I bought a matching 32H&R
I know they have been there a while because I did the tag on the one, And the last time I did retail case stock in the shop was a few years ago

My books are still packed up,, so I can't look up any info on how many are out there. However,, a theory,,, maybe nobody is selling theirs as they like them a lot?

All the birdshead .357 Vaqueros had 4-5/8" barrels. Ruger didn't make any birdshead "Sheriff's style" .357 Vaqueros with a shorter barrel than that.
