My daughter has a Dobie that's as friendly as could be, maybe. No one else knows that according to his bark. He has a job to do and he does it well. The mail person and UPS man have a few doggie bones for Jackson. They get a free pass every time... :wink:

What a stud! Does he know how handsome he is? Glad to see he's out of jail too! Ha ha ha... We had a neighbor who had a bernese mountain dog. Buddy. How many dogs are named Buddy anyway. He was all bark and no bite too. Boy did Buddy love to talk. Is Hoss that loud? He looks like it...

The only time Hoss barks is when he wants me to play ball. If I try to push him away he gets in my face and barks
like he wants me up right now. He does not bark at people or other dogs that walk by. But he watches them very closely. Hopefully he is not getting any bigger. Looks like he is going to be a medium size Bernese. That suits me just fine.
 
I have a "hunnert" pound Doberman...Maxim. His job it to warn me when someone is on the property. He puts on a good show and gets that "Mowhawk" that starts at his neck and goes down his back. He has never attacked, just barks and makes you think twice. The UPS and mail lady know him by name and he will still bark,... until he gets his "treat".

I do look forward pictures of Hoss.... well named BTW......
