Hogue Aluminum Grips?

Anybody have or use the aluminum "extreme" grips by Hogue. I have a strange hankering for a checkered set from Ruger with the Ruger medallions in OD green...

I don't have a set, but only because the exagerated profile doesn't appeal to me....
