Hi Rings on a 10-22

Just curious about the issue of putting high rings on my 10-22.
I mounted the scope this morning and see I have over a 1/2" of clearance between the top of the buck horn back sight (with it standing up) and the 40mm bell of my scope.
Should I think about med. rings?

I bought the Burris High rings and ended up going w/ med rings.

The fit was just better w/ the Med. Rings,

I would use what works BEST for your situation.

Anybody need a set of Burris High rings?? $22 shipped...

Go with what ring height gives YOu the best perspective through the scope. All depends on how YOU hold it and YOUR cheekweld.
