I was perusing Gunbroker and this one popped up. I was aware of the 275 Rigby/7x57 but not that Ruger ever chambered for that designation, nor the odd serial number DACA 078. This sure isn't my first rodeo with Rugers but I don't know what to think about it.

It is in fact a series done for the Dallas Arms Collectors Association. As I recall it was the first Ruger ever did for an outside group with their own serial numbers.

It is the only one I know of so marked for the 275 Rigby

Hi a neat gun too bad its been neglected by the looks of the pitting I would bet it is a block of rust under the stock . I sure woud need it bad too pay that price

I wrote him. According to him, it's dirt and dust build up.....

One ring, what I'm assuming to be a EER scope perched up front over the removed rear sight..... Unique set-up to say the least...

Quite interesting, thanks for the info. Other than the rear sight butchering and stock wear it would be a nice rifle, but wouldn't command any premium for me.
