I just purchased 2 nib single six, star models. They are both engraved with the same engraver's mark. I called Ruger, and they did not leave there engraved. You can see the engraver's mark at the beginning of the barrel. Any help on identification would be great!!

I already contacted them with no help so far, that's why I posted here.

I will post pics of the whole guns later today hopefully.

Thanks,
Vito

Interesting! I'm not a big fan of engraving but this work looks to be very nicely done.

I found some other threads. So, these were made in 1983, commissioned by the RCA for Jerred to do these guns. I have one spanish gun and one american, one is marked with a an S prefix and the other with an A.

Any idea of a value?

VERY interesting 8) I would like to know more on these guns myself--look nice --never seen such RSS's before, thanks for showing :D

Wasn't that engraver's signature discussed on RF recently? Can not find it and I only remember something about his name being "Cane or Kane" therfor the picture of a walking cane.
