I've got a couple nice revolvers that I'm sure I'll regret selling but I'm looking to raise some funds for another project.
The first is a Harton 5 shot 45 built on a brand new Bisley that I purchased and sent straight to Alan. It has a 5 1/2" heavy barrel, barrel band, 5 shot cylinder, #5 basepin with lock screw, custom front sight, frame was decked for proper grip fit, walnut grips, pretty much everything someone may want other than a Bowen rear sight since they were unavailable at the time. I haven't fired it but Alan said it shot exceptionally well. The price is $2300 shipped.

The second revolver is an Old Model that I sent to Ben Forkin to turn into a 44 Special. 4 3/8" custom barrel, CCH by Turnbull, Bowen rear sight with custom front sight, #5 basepin with lock screw, walnut grips, steel ERH, frame was decked for proper grip fit, just a very nice revolver. I haven't fired it since getting it back from Ben but he said it was a shooter. I waited just shy of 5 years for this one to be completed, Ben's backlog is pretty lengthy but it was worth the wait in my mind. The only negative thing I can say about this revolver is that it has been converted. I had planned to have Ben convert it back for me but truthfully during the almost 5 year wait it slipped my mind and when Ben told me it was finished I couldn't wait to get my hands on it so unfortunately it has been converted. The price for this revolver is $1750 shipped.

I've listed these locally as well, if they happen to sell locally I'll update the post.

He was waiting to see if I would see it first but a guy can only be patient so long! Great looking gun.

Now the Forkin gun! I waited about the same length of time for my 45 Ben did and all I can say is his guns NEVER come up for sale. I really don't know why I have not said I will take it so the rest of you have a few hours while I sleep on it and cogitate on my mistake. If you have ANY desire for a custom old model 44 special conversion, you will NOT find a nicer version than this.

Wow--spent all evening rigging things and getting ready for the spotted pawn season opener Friday and the the new boat -- and look at that, saved myself $4k. I'd had to grabbed both these beauties. Good job guys. A banded barrel stainless 45 is the quintessential foul weather rig, and just about anything Forkin. Wanted one of Ben's guns for a while and every time I talk to him he's so backed up and behind he can't give a realistic wait. He sure builds a great gun.

Now know a couple gents to try and twist on trades.

I didn't realize Forkin's backlog was that long.

Nice guns!

It will have a bisley hammer and be unconverted most likely. I just wish I had a steel Old Army grip frame to send out to Ben as well. Maybe a Powers two piece one will be in the cards instead.
