He has an excellent article in the latest issue of GUNS magazine on turning an unloved, clapped-out old Marlin lever action .22 into a functional, rather attractive "tractor gun."

Thirty or forty years ago, there were articles like this in the gun rags almost every month. This is the first one like it I've seen in years. What happened to them?

Not a whole lot of great stuff in my neck of the woods but we DO have Hamilton Bowen about 15 minutes away. Could be really injurious to one's wallet!!
