Hal equals IBM reminds me of a local raw bar named the "Half-Fast" Raw bar.

City "officials" visited the store and said they had to change their name because it was obscene. The owners asked how so and the officials said that when the name was said quickly it read "Half Assed" and the owner said, "So, don't do that" and they left!
