H&R HANDI COMPLETE ACTION F/S

South Texas talking about proper English! Where is 2 Dogs! But I digress....it is a receiver for an HR Handi Rifle. HR will actually fit barrels to this receiver if you send it in to them. The SB2 designation matters if you look into H&R's due to these aforementioned barrel services. The costs are very fair for this service through H&R but the SB2 designation will allow most of the barrels available which is why it is noted. Here is a link for info and BTW, Google is your friend...

The barrel program is shut down. Probably permanently, sounds like the rifles and shotguns are going bye-bye too now. Check out http://www.go2gbo.com/forums/hr-centerfire-rifles/ for more.

Those who know the gun, know exactly what is for sale. The SB1 is cast iron for shotguns and light pressure centerfire. The SB2 is for all other calibers including the 06' family. Kudos to you COR

With H&R recievers e-bay barrels would have to be fitted as h&r barrels are individually fitted at the factory. My experience swapping barrels is 0 for 3 tries. There is some talk Remington could restart the program at their new plant. The guys at greybeards outdoors could help you fitting barrels if you wanted to try. The offer sounds like a very reasonable price for someone who likes the h&rs like me. SB2 frames will fit all calibers from the SB1 plus all the higher powers. The only thing it will not fit is 10 gauge shotgun or the heavy wall 12 ga slug guns.

the other night my buddy popped his 357 mag barrel off his SB1 frame and it locked onto his SB2 frame like the factory did it. I aint been that lucky!
