H&R barrels FS

I have 2 H&R single shot barrels for sale.
Blued 20ga rifled barrel with Weaver scope base. Good condition. $250. Shipped TYD. Cash or Postal Money Order only. No PayPal. Lower 48 only.
2nd is a stainless steel barrel in 30-30. Drilled and tapped for a scope mount but has rifle sights. $250. Shipped TYD.

Wouldn't that 30-30 be nickel plated? As far as I know H&R never made a stainless gun.

I can’t attest to his but I can tell you they indeed made a very few stainless 30-30 barrels as I have one. I ruled it out being the nickel version. For the record though, I’ve seen the nickel version too and it might as well be stainless because that particular process they used is tough as nails.

H&R did for sure made all stainless guns, I have an UltraHunter in 444, stainless frame, pins, barrel, and has laminate stock. 24” barrel

Like the versions in the links, I know of at least 6 calibers made in the stainless with either synthetic or laminate so far. 45/70, 444, 243, 30-30, 223, 30-06. The big bores had 24” bull barrels, the others had a tapered 22” barrel from the ones I’ve laid eyes on. All are/were SB2 barrels.

I snagged the SS 30-30 barrel 22” to mount to my 444 frame, I had to add a little JB weld to get it to lock up properly and It actually had an ejector that needed some serious spring adjustment.

Interesting, Wish I'd have known when they were still making the stainless ones.
