It's not so bad. I have numerous Mausers and AR 15's that arrived at my house as random boxes of parts.

+1. I recall the TIME articles about the Afganistanis in the 1980s making thier own cannons from drain pipe, to fire confiscated Russian artillery shells. Right down to the rifling they cut with sand, grease, and rope. They worked, they killed Russians, and that is all that mattered to them at the time.
