Well Guys,

As some of you know from reading my post in the Lounge. Gunslinger Hank crossed the Sabine River and came for a great visit. :D

Well I didn't know that he was going to bring all these Klots and Whinnychasters.

Ya got to remember this is a RUGER and MARLIN house. Even though these were some outstanding guns I still had to sterilize the whole room that they were in. I don't want any of my Rugers and Marlins to catch anything that Ballistol won't wipe off.

I will let Hank tell ya about them.
Jim

Jim was fussing at me and drooling at the same time.lol All of the Colts are 44-40s, including the Sheriff's model. The five with the 5 1/2 inch barrels are sass revolvers. The ivory handled one is just something pretty that I found that I do not shoot. The top rifle is a Winchester model 92 in 44-40 with a 4xxx serial number, first year. The other is also a Winchester model 92 in 38-40 with a 17xxx number, second year. I just wanted to show him that I was addicted to all guns and not just to Rugers. I am going to bring a couple of those SASS revolvers and the 44-40 Winchester to Fredericksburg. In case you Ruger nuts get on me for having Colts, those are the only ones that I have and are far outnumbered by my Rugers.lol Best to all here, and thanks Jim for posting these. Hank

Americal. It is a Sheriff's model. First I ever had, and it came with the collection. Not sure what to do with it to tell you the truth. But the darned thing sure does handle well. Hank

Very nice Hank. Love the old Colts and Winchesters.
You seem to have an addiction to blue steel, wood, stag. and ivory.
Your in good company here a bunch of inablers. No cure but you will live. You just have to keep feeding it over time it can get very expensive.
John

Those are really nice .... Looks like you have "done real good" !

Thanks guys.

Eric. My favorite shooter is a 4 5/8 three screw single six with the black grips. Not sure when it was made, but it is my peace of mine when I am out shooting. The Colts are very accurate though, and it would be easy to just shoot them, but I have been shooting Rugers for over 40 years now and it is a hard habit to break.lol And all we did at Jims was drink, tell lies, and eat. Not necessarily in that order.lol Preparing ourselves for the Fredericksburg get together. Hank
