Growing Travel Alerts

Being sort of a "Prepper Lite" I'm on a list for certain event alerts, one of which is a rapidly growing list of travel alerts for different countries. I'm no international jet-setter so it doesn't affect my everyday life, but it gives an idea of world conditions, and in particular sentiment toward Americans. Helps me look out for trouble. I am now getting an average of 2 more every couple of days. To be clear, some involve terrorism in those countries, but also include Americans being either detained at facilities or simply not allowed to leave the country. The last two were Italy and Turkey.

One could almost understand Turkey, but Italy? The indication is that there is a growing worldwide condition of anti-American sentiment. This is not a political post, but rather an observation that the world is not happy about some of the things we are doing. I don't see these countries attempting anything outside their borders, only within. However, when the world gets this chaotic it can affect everything from peace to economics, to health issues, to trade.

I offer no answer for this growing problem,. I am just raising awareness of it. Sometimes getting a read on things can make life easier for one who does so.

On October 18th I was delayed 3+ hours at SNA for a AA flight getting back to DFW. Earlier direct flight was also delayed, the later direct flight was cancelled.
Friends returned to England on October 20, their flight was delayed 2 hours.

When people don't get paid , some don't show up, and flights get delayed.

Since then more people haven't shown up and the FEDs recently reduced the number of flights out of 30 airports and that number of reduced flights has increased each day.

I live under the flight paths for DFW, Love Field and Addison airport and have noticed a decrease in flights over the last 30+ days. Fewer SW flights, fewer private jets, and fewer flights heading to DFW.

The world has always hated us, but many hid their hate for our US $$$ in "aid"

Now they are finding out that they will have to hate us for FREE, and they are showing their true colors.
