Grip laser sights

Considering the grip mounted laser sights, either putting a set from Crimson Trace or Hogue them on my Ruger Commander, of getting one with a set installed at the factory, maybe a Kimber. Any opinions, experience and thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a Kimber with a red dot from the factory. Works fine.

The thing you need to do if you install your own, is to shorten the shaft
of the slide release lever. If you don't, it interferes with the laser beam.
