Just wanted to share a nice video the San Antonio Spurs made about rookie Lonnie Walker. I grew up a couple of blocks from where he did and was lucky to have parents who instilled a strong work ethic in me. The streets you see in this video were the streets I grew up on, I still spend quite a bit of time there as I only live about a mile away in a section of town I could only dream of living in when I was young. This kid was raised right and is really trying to help the kids in the Reading School District grow up right. He has been a superstar since he was 14 years old but he always had time for the younger kids who looked up to him. He’s a smart, humble young man, the Spurs made a great choice...and yes, he needs a haircut.
