Ok, I've read a little about these. Can't shake the thoughts so someone please give me the details and how much I should save towards acquiring one of these if it shows up. I just can't see having a gap in the lineup. :P

22/45 or MkII?

On a 22/45, I would say $425 for a nice one is about right, maybe $450.

There is a 22/45 G8 on gunsamerica right now.

My MKII Great Eight. I believe less than 1000 made. Great shooter. This is what started my MKII collection. I think the last one that sold on GB went for over $600.

MK, I just can't warm up to a 22/45. But I would be willing to convert a shooter and store the original parts for the next owner if I ever decide it needs one. (in case it isn't obvious it will NOT be a safe queen)

Actually I just looked at GunsAmerica I 'd rather a bull bbl over slab side.
