GP-100 in .22lr

So, any insiders have an update on this? I've been drooling for one since I first heard of it. Rumor was it may come out fall of 2014, now we're quickly approaching fall of 2015 and nothing. Ruger keeps releasing new guns, yet this one seems to be on the back burner

Ruger shelved it in favor of the LCRx 3" in .22.... due out later this year.
