These are available from Ruger and various firearms retailers. Used and/or new original magazines are normally available on eBay. New original magazines can be costly. Is the fact you're in California an issue with purchasing them?

No prohibitions on 10 rounders. I assumed(ass,me?) that Ruger would have discontinued them since they are 2 generations back,but not so?
I thought I would try to buy here first,but if I don't get any responses I'll start an internet search.
As an aside,are any aftermarket ones worth saving a couple bucks.

For the few bucks difference in the few aftermarket ones,, I'd just stay with factory ones.

They made quite a few of those magazines,, so finding factory ones should be fairly easy. And even if you buy from Ruger at retail, they are still a bargain. A gun is just a paperweight w/o a good functioning magazine.

MkIII 22/45 mags work in my MkII 22/45. The MkIII magazines are much easier to find and less expensive than the MkIIs.

MkII 22/45 mags work in my MkIV, too, so I assume they’re all compatible??

WELL, I stand amended! SHOPRUGER.COM lists Mark I, II, III and IV magazines, but only Mark III and IV 22/45 magazines???????????
