Got some custom ROAs finally done (picture heavy)

The custom Box elder burl grips were made by Zane at Lone Star Custom Grips. The pair on the stainless ROA are Eagle gunfighters.

The knife handles I did myself.

Are the blued guns factory Ruger birdshead grip frames?

I have a set of Eagles just like yours on my 45 birdshead Vaquero.

The blued birds head frame is custom made from an early Old Model Super Blackhawk with a long frame.

I found it on EBay, don't know who made it but they did an excellent job.

The stainless I bought here in the classified. It was an aftermarket, maker unknown. Was made for an old model with a narrow trigger. Took a lot of filing to get the wide trigger to fit.

They have been a pretty fun project.

it's cool to see the ROA's! just seeing the grip frames it was hard to imagine what they would look like but now that they're put together they look really great!
