Got Powder?

After months of looking, I finally found pistol powder! I picked up a pound of Hodgdon CFE Pistol at Cabelas yesterday. I can't believe how fast gun powder sells out. There were probably 7 1-pound bottles on the shelf when I arrived. 15 minutes later the shelf was empty.

Yeah, pistol powder can be scarce, especially the most popular powders. I still have a good supply of Titegroup, Win-231, & H Universal. I have lower quantities of Unique, 2400, win-296. My rifle powder supply very adequate too.

This weekend I was lucky enough to get a hold of 1 lb each of Red Dot, Blue Dot, 800x, Power Pistol, and 2 lbs of AutoComp.

I've found more 22RL at Cabala's in the last year than I have powder is how rarely they have any, I'm not really in any need for powder right now but always check to see if they have any and will buy a pound if I see one, so far this year I have bought zero powder from them.

Went by LGS yesterday. They had a couple lbs of power pistol, a fair amount of red dot and blue dot. I'm still good for a while, so I am holding out for some HP38, Universal, or perhaps something similar.

Scored a 4 lb. jug of Power Pistol last weekend.

I will never again buy pistol/handgun/shotgun powders in 1 lb. cans. When powder comes back 4 pounders only for me.

I love Power pistol. Our local FFL just received several cases of Power Pistol, Bullseye, Red Dot and Blue Dot. He has a fair selection of rifle powder too. I haven't seen any Accurate Arms powder in a year. I would love to get my hands on some #5, and #9

Bought another 4 lb. Power Pistol yesterday. Store had a bunch of Reloader series rifle powder on the shelf. Three Power Pistol 4 lb. left.

Now I need Bullseye, Red Dot, and Power Pro 300 MP.

Last week, my LGS had plenty of Blue Dot and Accurate #7
Picked up 1 of each. Now the shelf is empty again.
The #7 was $26/pound which aint "too" bad

I just bought a pound of CFE Pistol, plus two pounds of 800x for pistol. Tried to score more but it was all the LGS had come in. Scored another # of vihtavuori powder
N320 right before the first LGS had the CFE and 800x come in.

I'm set for a little while would like to find an eight #jug of Longshot.
