Congrats! I ordered one yesterday and a couple hundred rounds of ammo. It should arrive about the middle of the week. Trying not to think about it....

Got my SR45 back from Ruger Tuesday, it had a broken slide lock and light strikes. Went to range yesterday and got 3 light strikes out of 20 rounds, Pistol shoots well and is accurate, but the light strikes make it unsuitable for anything other than target shooting. Never had any problems whatsoever with SR9, SR9c, SR40, SR40c, Sr1911, SR22p, LC9 or LCP, they just keep on shooting. Might order a new striker assembly and see if that helps. Hope you have better luck with yours, they sure are a nice looking pistol and vary pleasant to shoot.

I have not had a chance to shoot it. But it dimpled my snap caps.. Will update once I get to shoot..

GOT me a P90.....twenty years ago....

I bought my P90DC several years ago, and a SR45 recently. All in all, I think the SR45 is a worthy successor to the P90DC. The only think I think the SR45 needs is replaceable grip panels, as I find the grip just a tad too thin for my hands.

Really been pondering a SR45...still pondering...

I have a P90DC & a P97...a SR45 would be nice to add.

Picked up my SR 45 yesterday. Did a thorough cleaning last night. Even cleaned the mags. Went out back to put some rounds through it and see if I needed to do any sight adjustments. Pretty accurate out of the box. Shot like a dream. I had one FTF due to a dead primer. I put (90) rounds through her on my way to (150) and the magazine release took a dump. Looks like I will be calling Ruger Monday.

That stinks. Good luck with the repair, Ruger will make it right.

Yes, I am sure Ruger will take care of it. It seems that I am not the only one to have problems with the magazine release breaking. I have read around the forums where others are having the same problem. I slid the thumb piece all the way out last night and it had piece of what looked like the magazine latch setting in the groove that is in the magazine latch thumb piece.

It shoots like a dream. I am a little late getting back here. But I have a keeper.. I love the trigger pull. Out shot my buddy with his new FNX 45.. He was a little ticket.. He shot the ruger better too..
I believe all my future handgun purchases will stay with Ruger.. From the Black Hawk, and the P89 I used to own to my 10/22. None of my Ruger guns have ever let me down.

Update: Called Ruger on Monday 8/5/13 and while I was speaking with customer service they emailed me a return shipping label. Shipped it back to Ruger on Tuesday 8/6/13. UPS dropped it off at my doorstep on Wednesday 8/14/13. I put 110 rounds through it on Thursday without any malfunctions.

Good to hear, and they picked up the shipping both ways. Where did you have to take it for shipping?

Yes, both ways. They ask that you take it to a UPS hub not to a UPS store. You can also have UPS pick it up at your house for a price.
