Good luck finding the United States emoji.

Trying to find this emoji to post on most websites is a challenge. Plenty of emojis of throwing up or poop or middle fingers or other rotten things. I find it hard to believe it is a coincidence.
Sad state of affairs.

Out of 38 rows of flags in my emojis the US flag is 3 rows from the bottom. However the rainbow flag is in the top row.... go figure.

I misspoke. I should have said how odd that folks in charge of websites will (mostly) put our flag near the bottom of the pile.
It should at the top. IMHO.

It's not up to the "folks in charge of websites." The emoji list maintained by the Unicode Consortium and is an international thing, originally created by the Japanese. Alphabetically, "United States of America" is way down on the list.

One way to find the emoji you want on an iPhone is to tap the emoji button and search for what you want: flag, tree, kiss, etc. and a bunch will show up for you to select. On my phone when I search flag old glory pops up first. Followed by the rainbow flag.
