Glue Ruger box labels back on

I have a couple of the older yellow Ruger boxes that the paper label has fell off. What is best glue to use that wont degrade the box or label over time?

I used Lepage's glue stick since I didn't want to use anything runny. It was a couple years ago and still looks fine. I am sure there are similar products.

I just did a quick search, they do make acid free glue for archiving and print framing. Any hobby store would sell glue like this.

I put a real light coat just where the label was coming loose of the white Elmer's Glue. It was so light it didn't show through. I did that a year ago and it still is in place. I don't know if it will make a difference but my label was on a Ruger shipping sleeve not the colored box.

I found some spray glue at walmart, we will see how well it last

You should be alright if you don't get it to wet. I started to put a piece of that clear shipping tape over the entire label but decided not to which I'm glad I didn't.
