Playing with the camera. Glock 21 with S&W M100 cuffs.

Nice shot!

People say they're ugly, but it has become sort of a classic look, to me. No nonsense, nothing wasted, nothing there that doesn't have to be. The next simplest mechanism to a 70 series 1911.

Well said.

And a Colt Series 70 1911 is on my short 'to buy' list.

Here is my G30 with it's brother from another mother

I can never get a "good" lookin' photo.

Thank you

Seems like I either have too much flash, not enough flash, odd shadows, reflections and more.

I need to upgrade my camera, I think

Lighting is definitely the most difficult aspect. Using a light box, or gauze fabric to diffuse artificial light helps. Flash is almost always bad, since it reflects off the metal and creates an uncontrollable blinding star effect.

I've taken to using some photo editing tools to lighten/darken, remove hot spots, etc.

Your composition is really nice, though. Shows a good eye.

OK, I just had to add pics of my beloved 2nd Gen G21. I bought it brand new in 1992 or 1993 and have carried it as my duty gun at the PD I work for ever since. It has over 30,000 rds through it with no malfunctions so far except for some of my reloads that I didn't size properly. When the old firearms instructor decided to drop an empty case in the chamber and run the slide home to simulate a FTF for training, it even ran flawlessly missing the bottom 2/3 of the extractor. Gotta love the reliability! The photos come from my CrackBerry, so excuse them.

Left side. Unremarkable, on the face of it.

Right side. Again, unremarkable.

Closeup of holster wear on left side. Edges are becoming polished with little finish remaining and the frame high points are almost glossy.

Right side holster wear. Gotta love that this is all the holster wear Glocks normally display!

Great pic Stoots! I like those big .45 caliber Glocks! Here's my Model 23 in .40 caliber to keep yours company on this thread:

Here is the only Glock I have left.

Work done by Robar. Other than the obvious frame modifications, the internals and slide were coated with NP3. The grip mod makes it point like a 1911, which was my main carry.

Just picked this up last month, a Glock 19. My first Glock (but not the first I've shot). I LOVE it, and that's from a die-hard 1911 guy.

Only change (this is an old picture) is I upgraded the weapon light a couple years ago to a Surefire 300x which is much brighter then the old streamlight on there. I am probably due for another upgrade but it works!

glock 21 - three mags of 230 gr Speer Gold Dots (39 rounds) - Surefire Z2, Lasermax internal lazer, and Mep Orange/Green night sights.

Assembled to own the night in my home as that is when I am most likely going to have to call on this gun.

Can anybody get in on this?

Absolutely.

Nice pic!

:D
Oh, anybody is allowed to post pics. on this thread?
Say no more!
Thanks "Shoots"!

This is my G20 in 10mm.
I cut down the magazine well to take the G29 mag.
It has:
Longer sight radius than a G29. (longer slide)
More power than a G29. (longer barrel)
Less recoil than a G29. (heaver slide)
Yet it is just as concealable as a G29 in a IWB holster.
I like it with the Pearce grip extention.
I even set up an Advantage Arms .22 conversion unit in the same way, with the shorter magazine.

Well you did say anybody could post pictures on your thread. :D
