Just walked back into the office from a visit to Cabela's. The had in stock a brand new Alaskan and a brand new 4" Redhawk.
Given the choice, calibers being equal of course, I am pretty sure I would have taken the Redhawk over the Alaskan. It just seemed to feel better, point better and to me anyway, had better balance. I don't need either, as I already have a 4" Model 29 and a 4 5/8"
Super Blackhawk. The Alaskan was $949 and the Redhawk was $929, way over priced in my opinion. Let me know your thoughts on which you would have chosen.
