Getting back to normal..............

Been having some medical problems lately, urinary bleeding etc. So went to the doctor, a urologist, who gave me the cystoscope exam. Unpleasant procedure, I'll assure you. Found a bladder tumor with that camera. (I think it was an 8 x 10 view camera!) Needed minor (to him) surgery. Had that done Monday. No big deal except sick as a dog from the anesthesia and my back sore from that gurney I lay on for so long. Yesterday I did nothing but lay around the house under Nita's watchful eye.

Finally blood-free, felt like celebrating!

I had the same thing done about 10 years ago but thankfully I was asleep when they did it. Mine was benign. Hopefully yours is too.

I went through it on and off since last year. Was on a trail ride a long ways from home or help. Started to pass a kidney stone but couldn't figure it out just then as it didn't hurt but was passing straight blood. I think I had three or four emergency trips. At the end of it all, (a couple months ago) I had to get circumcised! We left the hospital, wife was driving and I was wound tight and telling her how to drive and she pulled into a car not a block from the hospital! No injury`s but expensive. I haven't fully recovered.

Yeah, Bob, the definition of "minor surgery" is when someone else is having it, right? Especially when they're dealing with that part of a guy's anatomy!

Apparently the new deal is to put a camera on any piece of equipment they can stick up you or in you. Did he offer to show you movies. My guy did yesterday. I'm not sure "minor" and "surgery" should ever go together. Especially if it's happening to you. Prayers for a complete recovery.

I’ve been through minor surgery and major surgery and I definitely prefer the minor. :)
