Does anyone know if Ruger offered genuine Mother of Pearl grips for Ruger Vaqueros from the 1990's and whom may have manufactured them?
I called Ruger customer service for possible information but the rep would not share any information!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
:)

Thanks for the pics. I’m curious about what makes you believe they’re factory grips. Did they come on the gun when it was new?

nice looking grips as well as a very good "fit" have seen many aftermarket MOP grps over the years, in the early days I believe they came out of the east coast somewhere used to see the 'ads; in comic books and other magazines,,,hell maybe even match book covers in the old days, pearl and ivory ,as well as stags for Colts and Rugers. They look good....... and yes careful if shooting the gun, they are slippery as well as NOT holding up good to any abuse ( crack or chip).....wipe them down with a bit of lanolin every now and then, keep them 'fresh',,,,works on ivory too.......;)(y)
