GB auction...here we go again!!

Another skeleton stocked 77 going sky high. Just like the recent 260 that sold for $1150....or did it??

Same seller and two bidders with ZERO history?? I didn't look at the bid history for the 260 auction to see if it was a similar situation.

Me smells somethin fishy!! Actually smells more like bullsh!t! Will be very weary if I ever wanted to bid on a kimberlytrader auction.

2400+ auctions completed by the seller and darn good feedback having only 2 neg and 2 neutrals in all those 2400+. Looks legit from that standpoint.
Every bidder starts as a new member and a "NR" feedback rating. Doesn't mean anything. Could it simply be that folks that have never received any feedback have an interest in the guns?

Say anything you want , I'm not believing this is a legit auction. Two bidders , no rating , just happen to be "interested" in guns , and they run up a rifle worth around $500 to more than double? Maybe so. Maybe the more money than brains x 2 applies here but I doubt it.

As for the recently sold 260 that went for $1150 , there is no info remaining on gb when doing a search for past auctions that I could find.

I agree - Big Messy Stink.

I can't ever imagine a boat paddle, (or, for that matter, a regular stocked) M77 .22-250 going for more than $500.00.

FWIW I'm just aguy that happens to know this seller and I would trust him with my bird dog and if you have a dog that you love you know what I mean! As far as NR bidders, theres people out there who get kicks in every odd cocievable way, same as those who bid .19 on a fine english double gun worth 40k.
I'm sure Randy is aggravated at these NR idiots and when they don't pay you'll see that gun again starting at .01 with no reserve.

I did not notice a fluted barrel. If it is fluted then it is absolutely not a factory rifle. Even if it is a custom barrel it isn't worth it.

After the last few posts about the seller,I agree that it is probably a couple of clowns doing the bidding. That many A+ ratings for a seller isn't exactly easy to accomplish. I guess we'll see if it gets relisted.

I hope it is legit so I can use the new value set on he auction price to go through my safe and update how much all mine are worth! :P

I just took a better look at the pictures and the shadows make this look like a fluted barrel. What's really suspicious is that these bidders are really into it with 5 days left. This just doesn't happen in these auctions.
