I've enjoyed this one a while, and feel the time has come to move a few things along. This gun started life as a standard 6.5" flattop .44. It was used but not abused when I picked it up 20 years ago. John Gallagher did the custom work on it with the exception of the CCH cylinder frame, which was done by Turnbull (I checked -the CCH job alone from Turnbull is $700 now).
John shortened the barrel to 4 5/8", did an action job, added a locking base pin and steel XR3-RED size gripframe and reblued the whole works. . The English walnut grips are by Zane Thompson of Lone Star Custom Grips. This gun has actually been shot very little since completed. If you need any more pics or particulars, PM me. Own a truly custom flattop. 44 without the wait for $1650 shipped.
