No, they always seem to way over price their guns.
I've bought a couple of handguns from them and was pleased with the guns and service. They do get some interesting offerings and,,,,,,they are well aware of whats going on with pricing hard to find Rugers and others.

Have known them for some time, and yes, they do have some of the NICEST stuff thats around, and they are very selective, and do pay top dollar themselves to even get some of these things....pass it on and it will be even MORE costly,BUT if thats what YOU want,and they have it, it wil be about the "best" out there...........................
I had a very bad experience with them. This past spring I decided to switch from .357 to .44 spl as my primary caliber. I had been looking at their website for some months, drooling over the minty, vintage Smiths. I ordered a 624 listed as ' 97% wood, 98% metal '. I paid a lot of money for that gun. When I went to my FFL to pick it up, the guy behind the counter said, boy it's stiff, and I cleaned under the extractor star for you. The action was sluggish every three or four pulls in DA and SA and the trigger was erratic, sometimes three pounds, sometimes well under half a pound (hair trigger). On top of that when I contacted S&W about repair, they told me it was subject to recall for improper cylinder steel. Turns out the recall was well know by any Smith aficionado.
It was shipped by Fugate with no paperwork of any kind, no receipt, nothing with their name on it. E-mails went un-answered (they were very good about e-mails when I had it on lay-away).
Sent it off to S&W for repairs and recall testing. Seven weeks and $140 later I got it back, good as new. Now it's one of my favorites along with my 5.5" Bisley in .44 spl, but what a rip off Fugate was.

Sold them a NIB 2.5 inch S&W Model 66 a couple of years ago. They saw my post about it on the S&W forum. No qualms against them personally, but think they were trying to cherry pick and were asked not to do business on that forum. They made several attempts to operate there anyway. Again, nothing personal, just did not care for them bucking the owner's wishes over at the other forum.
When you're dealing with those kinds of high value "luxury items", you really do have to deal from the top of the deck. I passed on the custom Bowen SRH and elected to have him do it directly. Just don't want to spend $1900 and have a problem with a seller.
