FS: ~1957 vintage Ruger Single Six roundgate XR3 plum frame

FS: ~1957 vintage Ruger old model Single Six, roundgate, in 22 LR, catalog RSS5. Frame has turned a nice plum color. Gun is in ~90% condition with handling wear here and there, as seen in pictures. There are some freckles on the barrel/ERH, also seen in pictures. Walnut grips are in OK shape but with a small chip on the heel of the left panel. S/N is 89429. No box or papers.

Matt,when was the change from hard rubber to wood grips ? My 86091 round gate's are hard rubber,just curious.
