They are $23.96 at Brownells but back ordered. However, if you place an order, they will ship it to you as soon as it arrives and you won't have to follow-up. Or you can just keep checking with Ruger, but if they're out of stock they won't back order for you. You just have to keep calling.

Also back ordered at Midway but they want $29.99.

Jim I was trying for 5 or 6, I want them on Vaquero's and I've got a stainless 4-5/8 Colt blackhawk, that I'd like to have one. I've got one blue Super hammer but need another. I spect that will be hard to find. Two other Vaqueros, one is a sheriff model. I'm not as on top of it as you guys.

The blue hammers are history as you probably know, on all blue guns. Have to find a parts kit to get them or send out a stainless to be blued by those Bluing stainless like Roghaar:

Yes some limited production dealer exclusives had them; Talo I think.

Just got off the phone with Ruger. I was able to order two SS Super Blackhawk hammers. It was mentioned "limit two per customer". Hope this helps.

Joe, He did say try back in a week. I don't know how often they get them and I don't think he does either but maybe you will get lucky. Timing is everything.

I was just wondering why I hadn't seen anything yet. Don't worry about it. Glad you got it. I'll keep trying. I will be jacking someone up at Ruger tomorrow. Just for practise you know!!!

Hondo, that is a fine looking Vaquero. Is the Gold Ring a factory thing? I haven't seen that. I've got a Vaquero similar down to the grip. I'll be putting a super hammer on that as well. One day I'd love to get it down to Turnbull for the frame to be made a little nicer. Like his CCH.

Thank you Bear Paw, it 's a friend's "The Last Cowboy" edition therefore the cyl gold ring and also there's a Gold Cowboy on the birdshead grip frame behind the hammer. His sister gave it to him as a gift but it was just to small for him so he asked me to make the changes. While I was at it I fitted the convertible ACP cyl to it. The CCH is just the factory chemical type. The barrel is 5 1/2" with the 5" ejector (trimmed a bit) to shove those 45 cases all the way out.

A miracle. I got two hammers today. They told me that was all they had when I called, then they told Woods Walker they had two. SO..... Tells you a lot about their credibility. They are $33 each plus a hefty shipping charge, IMO. More expensive than either Brownell's or Midway who probably get them from Ruger (I assume). Short story they came in now I've got to figure out where to buy a few more. But am I happy, happy, happy....YOU BET!!!
