FOUND - Stevens model 325 bolt (complete bolt assembly)

FOUND - the bolt (complete assembly) that goes to my Stevens mod 325 in 30-30. Rifle needs complete bolt assembly.

Please don't post links to websites containing parts constantly out of stock. You know they are and I know they are. Sifting through mountains of these messages is not helpful.

These are good guns! It was my first center fired rifle! Killed a few mulelys with it over the years. Mine has the same light wood stock! Still have it stuck in the back of the safe I have not shot it in 30 years I bet. I guess I should dig it out and run a few rounds down the barrel. Thanks for letting me share a few old memories.

Hi good luck with your search unless it has some sentimental value it will cost more than its worth you might try calling savage they might be able to direct you to someone that works on the older guns it worked for me when I was looking for some old mossberg parts I will keep my eyes open for you

MA no that is what came to mind with me also but I looked up parts schematics and they are different

I read that the savage 840, 340, and Stevens 325, and even a Remington clone all use the same bolt, please provide me a diagram showing the differences. Numrich gun parts shows them as the same part #

Hi I looked up the schematics on numrich look at the pictures and part numbers and they are different I may be wrong but I use their schematics for reference quite often I like to save old guns from the grave yard My apology if I have steered you wrong I have owned 5 or 6 340s in 30-30 and 225 win haven't seen a 340 with a butter knife handle I will ask around in a few very old and small gun shops I go to see if one is collecting dust in a corner

Might have one. Only drawback, is the fellow that had it before me, I guess ,didn't like the bolt handle protruding out so far and ground the end of it off. Took off about 1/2" IIRC
