Depending on your budget there's Rock Island Armory M200 or model 206. Basic but certainly functional.

I have a nice condition S&W 442-2 Airweight .38 +P. It is a 5 shot DAO (no exposed hammer), light alloy frame, black finish, and comes with a hard polymer holster. Estimated age is 2007-2008 mfr (DBD prefix).

RIA has reasonably priced utility revolvers. Mine seems solid and reliable so far. Under $300 out the door. Their newer model has the S&W style push cylinder release but costs more.

Recently have picked up a Taurus 605. Nothing but pleased with its performance. I also got its little brother in 22 Magnum.

Charter Arms 38spl. used $300 out the door. Could have had a pink one for $275 but I passed on that.
