Your book does not reference a Heavy barrel, 9mm, Service Six, only the SDA-94. Any feel for rarity?

These late production guns are usually H barrels whether they letter that way or not as the skinny tube was virtually eliminated by then. But there was another batch made earlier that have the "standard" barrel. I've heard of several of each but have no real feel for which one is rarer.

Wow, pretty close to mine - I have SDA-94H #161-05373, also April 1984.

"Weaselmeatgravy",
I've added a couple of photos.
I've going to take a guess that the later 'H' versions are less common and were more likely to be a special order item. I think that by 1984, the interest in 9mm revolvers was beginning to wane.

At least the serial numbers are not consecutive - one of us would be salivating over that prospect!

One might suggest (from the ser. no. range) that a small order of at least 11 was put together at the same time.
