Found a low 3-digit Hawkeye & a 4-digit Red Eagle

Also, there around ten variations of Red Eagle known with four-digit serial number, some pretty rare.

Sounds like couple of great Rugers!
Looking a my notes I have 224 and 241 Hawkeyes noted as the closest to yours, so no consecutive # there.
The Red Eagle sounds like a nice Type 3 variation (rounded muzzle crown and no silver colored escutcheons around the grip screws). The Type 3 is the 2nd most common Red Eagle variation produced at around 5,400 made but having a box with it is a find indeed!
