Thanks Dan!! I don't feel so bad about not having this one. Picked one up from FFL last week that shipped in somewhere from up in New England. Did I mention the serial number??? Oh, it was 600-00013. Some boat captain, a yacht captain, that worked for Bill Ruger, let's see..............I think his name was Mr Carmichael, yeah that's right. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Goes along with serial number 9,10, 11 pretty good. not as close as 17, 19, 20 and 22 though. Coogs.

RR, are consecutive numbers a thing with Colt collectors? I hear they don't value boxes as Ruger guys do???

...oh yes, they do, in fact Colt boxes are getting up there in price as well as they are being "faked', BIG TIME, made ( printed in China) and sold on the internet via various web sites (auction & sale)
I have yet to see or find ANY "faked" Ruger or S&W boxes, the end labels YES, especially S&W labels, are all over the internet....ah the joys of knowing what is real or not......hhhmmm :?

Hey Coogs nice find on that #13 gun, by the way I knew the guy from down in Florida who did the "teak" wood repairs on the Titania........ 8)

I'd like to get to all these Ruger shows, Tulsa, Boise, Ohio, but.........................being self employed affords me not set vacation days. Don't work, don't get paid, and, self employment lives and dies on cash flow, low business volume, low flow. I get around to it I'll take a pic or two and post 'em, Coogs.

Jack.....I feel sorry for you....NOT....I don't sell many MOTORCYCLE's or tires in JANUARY...

I know exactly how you feel....I just make MRS RADICAL get a second job in the WINTER....

And I still shovel sidewalks like I did as a kid only now I worry about having the BIG ONE at 4 AM in a snow drift.....gotta get gun money somehow....LOVE YA BUDDY....RR.
