For Doc Cash, the color blue, accented by snow covered peaks

Inspired by our own master photographer Doc Cash, my photo efforts continue
Kit Carson Mountain from the front yard of our place. We probably got 3" overnight at 8550 ft, whole bunch more than that at elevation. The depth of the blue in these pics, just amazing, especially on the third pic, such a dark & rich blue. These were taken on a Nikon Cool Pix that I found laying in a rest area along the Arkansas River on Hwy 50 between Canon City & Salida last May, pretty good pics for a free camera

I don't know what it is that makes the CO sky so blue. Just about every morning while we were in South Fork, CO. the sky was the deep blue. Texas has some really blue skies ,but not quite like CO.
