Fobus lists their HK-1 model holsters for the SR9 and SR40. Does anyone know if it will also fit the SR9C? I assume it will be a bit too long for the shorter barrel but that's easily fixed.
I have the same holster and I think its a little too long for the SR9c as you can see in the photo. You could shorten it by grinding some material off of the bottom edge. The trouble with shortening it is that its held together with two rivets at the bottom corners. You would have to find some kind of screws to fit into the narrower part of the holster ridge above the present location of the rivets. I guess its doable though. If you do it let us know how and if it looks strong enough to stay together at the bottom.
I have that exact holster and it fits my 9c fine- good retention..but I prefer the Ruger/MitchRosen belt holster. The Fobus tends to kinda- lean forward- just doesn't seem to hold the weapon close, tight to the body, and in the right position. Granted, the MR costs about $70 more...
