floor plate etching

just viewed gun blast's video on the hawkeye guide rifle in 375 ruger and noticed the floor plate engraving has the SR in the eagle. Is this new or have the factory been doing this marking all along?

I seldom look at new rifles, am far more interested in tang safety versions.

They have been doing that for quite a while.

All the Hawkeye rifles have it. Ruger started doing it with some special Cabelas runs of the M77 Mark II rifle.
