With all the re-introduced wolves breeding and spreading all over the Western states, someone has finally come up with a decent idea. We have been loosing deer and elk at an alarming rate while the bunny huggers bring lawsuit, after lawsuit to keep us from controlling the wolf population. In the mean time our deer and elk populations continue to plummet. Well there is finally some help on the way. Over the weekend almost 400 imported Brown Nosed Kangaroo's have been released across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. The idea is that these will be big, fast, and mean enough to fend off wolf attacks and start breeding. Once they start throwing off spring, the wolves should be able to gorge themselves on lots of baby roo's, and lighten up on their voracious deer and elk eating. The photo below was taken just East of Bend Oregon where volunteer game handlers released 55 of the kangaroo's into 2 different areas.
