Was able to purchase this at GT distributors here in Austin Tx. Overall very nice revolver. Not bad on price either. 325.00 plus tax. Sure love the way it feels.

Very nice. Don't know if you have taken it out for a spin yet, but would love to know how it shoots. Will you leave the original grips on it?
Nice revolver sir!!

It's a personal thing but I prefer the Pacmayer compact round butt rubber grips to the Tyler adapter.
With the Pacmayers, this is my favorite double action. I have several just like it.

And, by the way, $325 is over toward a 'stealing' price around here. Well done!

I will have my choice of 2 that were sold to my local pawn shop I deal with. He has to wait 30 days to sell them. I'm 1st on the list!!! I think I'm going to add 1 of them to my security six 4". This one is 2 3/4" SS.

Very nice BTW

Isn't this an unusual barrel length for a Speed Six? It seems long to me, and of course, I found a 4" heavy barrel SS Speed Six earlier this summer and I think it very unusual....... 8)

Although the 4" is not as common as the 2-3/4", they do surface. The heavy barrel version is much more scarce, and yours is a good find.

WAYNO.

I hate to sound stupid but is my six a regular or heavy barrel? I cant figure it out.

Sometimes it takes seeing a photo of guns with both barrel weights side by side to see the difference. The reflection of the polished barrel on yours makes it difficult. Can you post a muzzle view of your gun?

WAYNO.

I'm going with late, heavy barrel due to the profile of the ejector rod housing.

By the way, the scalloped frame has a thicker top strap and therefore a more pronounced (fixed) sight channel (the easier to see, he said).
