Everyone usually has more than one knife. I realized that I have acquired so many that I forgot some over time, but I think two of my favorites have to my US Air Force Survival knife and the first (and so far only) knife I have ever made. I have the US Air Force knife pretty geared up right now, I saw this set up once done by a former survival instructor and never realized how much gear you can get based around your knife. I have with the knife and the sheath, the stone that comes with it, a ferrule, real strike anywhere matches, a couple of decent lengths of paracord, a couple of split shot sinkers, in the back hidden in the metal cover on the sheath is about 20 feet of fishing line, a couple of hooks that are kept secured so I don't stick myself and an emergency blanket under the paracord as well as the compass. It goes on the belt exactly as it should and frees up a lot of room in my pack.
The other knife is a patch knife I made from a price of antler from a deer I hit with my jeep, a small 4 point buck. The knife is a small Damascus patch blade and I fitted it and then secured it all with JB Weld. I polished the antler and gave it a coat of clear finish to keep it nice and shiny.
