Does anyone recognize the possible maker of these faux ivory grips? (I believe circa mid-'80s.)

By all appearances, they fit well. But, I haven't had the chance to examine them in person, yet.

hard to tell by the pictures, actually have to 'see' hold, inspect the back side carefully, as there were quite a few makers of polymer ( poured) white/ivory grips...name the company, they did it.....the GOOD ones were 'Tru Ivory' (Bar S grips) out of Everett ,Wa, they could make ANY shade, color variation, and really looked like ivory till you handled them ( weight/feel)

Thanks, Dan & Bear Paw Jack.
There are a few of the older aftermarket grips that I'd like to have. Tru-ivory and Westinghouse micarta both come to mind. I generally prefer a smooth grip on my plowhandles.

Thats correct, the wood ( dark) backing is is a sign, method of Jay Scot, and most of the Ajax we have seen will be marked ( stamped) on the rear...never kept anyone from sanding off any and all markings over the years...same went for Eagle, they were usually marked...............you want a wood that looks like ivory, try 'holly' wood, have had a few pairs from Cary C, and wow, NICE grain, and again, from a few feet away ,without actually handling them to get that "feel" ( heft) of ivory, his grips are right up there in looks with the old Tru Ivory...........

I recently purchased simulated ivory grips from Boone Trading Co. and am more than pleased. I got mine aged with Ruger blackhawk (black on silver) medallions installed. Look and feel are great, like real ivory not like plastic from some other sources that I've seen.
