Fair price for a Colorado Centennial Single Six?

I’ve run across a couple in the $600-$700 range. Is this reasonable? They have the presentation cases and paperwork… and are in ASNIB condition.

it is to us, I sold all the ones we had and or sold for others and were all in the $600-650 range , at shows , so no transfer, fees, ,etc.........never know at some auction and if a serial number is "wanted" for consecutives or some such, then the
"pucker factor" enters the equation.........:cool:;)

Is this the model that is blued steel with a stainless steel grip frame? If so, they are a mighty nice looking revolver!

Do you have any pictures of the stamping on it? I'm rather surprised that Ruger would make a special run for the Colorado centennial, considering it was the exact same year as the US bicentennial (1976).

Hi I have always thought they were under valued around here at $600 they sit forever I have a consecutive pair in the 100 serial number range I figured they were a good investment I could have bought 10 consecutive guns in a row im glad i didn't

The RENE price guide lists them at $615.00 as an average value.

I'm pretty sure of what it is and there is a member on the other Ruger forum, "Iowegan" that has one and has shown it several times. I liked it so well that that was the inspiration when I bought a stainless steel grip frame to put on my Single-six.
