Factory Brass frame.. The completes kit... which grips?

Not sure this has been covered here and I have seen them both with black and silver eagles, but in the complete kits from Ruger, WHAT GRIPS CAME IN THE WHITE BOX SET?
Was it a mix of the 2 depending on date, and if so was there a cutoff date when the change was made?
Curious minds want to know.

The several that I have had, came with Walnut Super Blackhawk grips, blue escutcheons & screw, and "squashed chicken" silver bird, circa 1972/73.

ALL the ones we ever saw, all the ones we ever bought back then from the factory had the "squashed "chicken ( silver) eagle grips..............( with the black, steel screws and escutcheons) .........
