Facelift time.............

I sent my grip frame off to Patrick Grashorn last Wednesday, and got these grips back yesterday. I sent him a photo of sort of what I wanted, and he matched that as close as antler would permit.

I'm pleased with the results.

Yes sir! They do look great. All but the Super 41 have Pat's elk grips. rarely more than a week to get them back either.

I prefer the 'After' photo, personally. Not that I'd be terribly upset if someone were to gift me the 'Before" version, either! All very nice guns.

Bob, My first thought was that you had a facelift and I was anticipating some before and pics of your mug. :)

What is with all of those 2 screw Ruger's? Especially without Flatgate's or Iowegan's fixes for the ring around the collar.

Truth in advertising, I actually do own two New Model Ruger single actions. One is the anniversary flattop .44 magnum and the other is .45 Colt with the ugly rosewood grips but was priced at such a bargain I could not pass it up. Both have Iowegan's extended hammer plungers so the cylinders are still unmarred.

I also have an original .44 magnum flattop with our own Sac Petterson's elk grips.
